Caregivers
Every caregiver brings unique talents and gifts to their position. Our training includes specialized communication techniques, team building, emergency planning, infection control, memory care, and medication technician certification, CPR and basic first aid. Our caregivers have experience in healthcare and the field of aging, with most having Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Caregiver certification by the state of Arizona. Additionally, all staff have continuous education on an online learning platform.
The caregivers have the responsibility of managing The Villas home including assisting with activities of daily living, housekeeping, cooking, and cleaning, and most importantly getting to know and spending quality time with each resident who lives here.
Community Managers
Care managers provide steady leadership across multiple homes, ensuring care delivery, daily operations, and communication remain consistent and aligned. They coach and support caregivers, reinforce standards, and help each home reflect the values and expectations families trust us to uphold. Ultimately, they are accountable for maintaining a high quality of care and daily life, giving families confidence that their loved ones are well supported every day.
About us
The Villas at Wilmot Assisted Living and Memory Care Neighborhood offers affordable, exceptional care in a unique residential setting conveniently located 20 miles south of Tucson, AZ. We take pride in caring for our residents like family. Our passion is for serving those that have physical or cognitive difficulty, including memory care, and need assistance with daily living.
The Villas at Wilmot Assisted Living and Memory Care offers a home/neighborhood setting that is affordable and family centered. Each of our 6000 square foot beautifully furnished homes has 10 private suites with individual heating and cooling systems.
Our residents live in a secure and loving environment where you can be certain they are receiving exceptional care from our trained, devoted caregivers. We provide 1 caregivers for no more than 10 residents (1:5 ratio) from 7am – 7pm, and 1 caregivers for no more than 10 residents (1:10 ratio with an auxiliary caregiver) from 7pm – 7am, as well as our on-site care specialist, ensures personal treatment, so that your loved one’s quality of life is the absolute best.
The Villas at Wilmot Assisted Living and Memory Care Neighborhood provides all levels of assisted living, as well as memory care for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Our homes have specific, private rooms such as a salon and physical therapy room. This allows other service providers such as doctors, therapists, and stylists, to deliver specialized support to our residents. We also offer short term/respite care and residents in need of hospice receive the care in their home.
Seniors need physical activity and mental stimulation. The Villas at Wilmot Assisted Living and Memory Care has an activity coordinator that plans and oversees group and one-on-one activities such as: holiday parties, cook-outs, sing-a-longs, and exercise classes like Zumba.
Most large assisted living centers are owned by out-of-town corporations. We are different because we are locally owned and managed. The owners of The Villas at Wilmot Assisted Living and Memory Care Neighborhood, Bobby Larson and Klaus Axen, oversee daily operations.
